31 year-old Dimitris Koutsolioutsos is a graduate in economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business and has worked at the Ministry of Development and at Folli Follie Group. Ioanna Sapfo Pepelasis is Associate Professor at AUEB. She has co-edited three international volumes on entrepreneurship and has published several articles in prestigious refereed journals. She heads the ‘History of entrepreneurship and the Greek corporate sector’ project at AUEB. She has served on the Council of the European Business History Association and on the Board of Directors of the Greek Centre for Planning and Economic Research.
Alexandros runs the program and manages relationships with mentors, partners and investors.He started his career as a research associate in the National Technical University of Athens and he then moved to Attica Telecom. Attica Telecom developed and operated the first private fiber optic network in Greece, disrupting the local wholesale telecom services market. The company was acquired by HoL in 2006 for 50M euros. Helen Salavou is currently an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the the Athens University of Economics and Business. Diomidis Spinellis is a Professor in the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece. From 2009 to 2011 he served as the Secretary General for Information Systems at the Greek Ministry of Finance. He is the author of two award-winning books, Code Reading and Code Quality: The Open Source Perspective, as well as more than 200 widely-cited scientific papers. He served for a decade as a member of the IEEE Software editorial board, authoring the regular “Tools of the Trade” column. Dr. Spinellis has written the UMLGraph tool and code that ships with Mac OS X and BSD Unix. He holds an MEng in Software Engineering and a PhD in Computer Science, both from Imperial College London. Dr. Spinellis is a senior member of the ACM and the IEEE. From January 2015 he is serving as the Editor-in- Chief for IEEE Software.
