Methodios Yannis

Dr Methodios spent 30-years of his professional career in the business consulting sector.He was the Country Managing Director of Accenture, Greece (1991-2004), General Manager of Ernst & Young/Consulting, Greece (1982-1991), Senior Consultant (Associate) with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, USA (1976-1982). Since 2005 he works as free lunch business consultant, as a real estate investor, and as Board Member of various companies in Greece.

He devotes considerable time as a volunteer in promoting youth entrepreneurship. He supports start-ups as mentor and acts as university lecturer or trainer on various entrepreneurial topics. He is a founding member and Vice-President of the Centre of Volunteer Managers of Greece (KEMEL) and founding member and President of the non-profit organization Friends of the Public Art Gallery of Arta.

During his career he has worked for many companies of various sizes, cultures, and activities in the private and public sector, primarily in the financial sector. The main objective of his work has been the improvement of business performance. The majority of his projects involved the formulation of business strategy and its subsequent execution thru the implementation of new modern operating and management models along with the installation of large-scale IT systems. Key aspects of these strategic projects were high complexity and risk, big and diverse consulting and client teams, long durations, large budgets and substantial change management effort.

He is a Ph.D in public management, holds an MBA in information technology, and a BS in mathematics.
